Your application process

Just a few steps to your new job.

Find a job

Visit our job portal and filter your search according to the field of work and your desired location.
This provides you with an overview of our vacancies. Can’t see anything you like?
Then send us an initiative application – we like out-of-the-box applications!

Apply

Apply online through the job portal. Simply fill in your personal information and upload
all the relevant application documents – it won’t even take you 5 minutes.
You will receive a confirmation of receipt by email within a few minutes of submitting your application,
and feedback from us will follow within a week.

Meet us

Yay, we liked your application! Now, we would naturally like to meet you in person
for an initial interview. And you probably feel the same.
So use this appointment for your own idea of what we are all about, and feel free to bombard us with questions.

Second interview

Depending on the level of responsibility associated with the position you have applied for,
we will invite you to a second interview. This is where we will go into more detail
and may introduce you to other employees.

The decision

Irrespective of whether we see you for 1 or 2 introductory talks, if we have hit it off, we’ll call you to make
you an offer and clear up any remaining questions. If we don’t have an answer for you at this point,
we will of course let you know as soon as we have made our decision.

First steps

Once we have confirmed your appointment by phone, we will send you your employment contract and discuss what will happen next.
Before you start with us, you will receive all the rest of the important onboarding information.
You already have a fixed meeting on your first day at work: a welcome session!

How to submit an application correctly

Here are a few pointers

You can upload your documents quickly and easily as a PDF or Word version on our online job portal.

Here’s what to include:

1. Cover letter

Many applicants find themselves unexpectedly battling with writer’s block when it comes to their cover letter. That is why our advice is to just relax and concentrate on the essentials. State the position you are interested in and tell us something about yourself. Mention your previous jobs and subject-specific knowledge that is relevant to the position you are applying for. Add your salary expectations and your earliest possible start date – and there you have your cover letter.

If you have any questions before you start, simply contact Laura Soletzki from the People & Culture team.

2. Curriculum Vitae

A CV in tabular form is the key element of every application. This is where you briefly list your previous experience in your professional and/or academic career. It is crucial to provide a good overview, which should include the following points:

  • Personal information
  • Professional experience, including a brief overview of tasks
  • In this list, mention if the jobs were temporary
  • Your education or training, including qualifications
  • Other skills and knowledge – and if you want, any relevant interests

3. References

Please include any relevant documentation – such as certificates or similar – in support of the degrees you have obtained, internships you have completed, or significant professional experience. As with your CV, we are interested in the documents that could be relevant to your new position.
