It is official — we have been awarded the 'Innovationssiegel 2021' seal of approval
The TOP 100 Seal has been awarded to the most innovative of Germany's SMEs for the past 28 years.
To earn the award, we had to convince the jury in a scientific selection process. The innovation researcher, Prof. Nikolaus Franke and his team, evaluated bitbase group's innovative strength on behalf of compamedia, the organiser of the TOP 100 competition in innovation.
The researchers based their evaluation on around 120 test criteria in five categories: innovation-friendly senior management, a climate of innovation, innovative processes and organisation, outward-looking/open innovation, and successful innovations. At the forefront were questions such as: were the innovations the result of a planned approach or rather a product of chance? And do the solutions have a chance of being successful in the market? As a result of the current situation, this year also saw a special category examining the entrepreneurial response to the coronavirus crisis.
Under conditions that will have, hopefully, returned to normality, we look forward to another cause for celebration on 26 November when the 7th German SME Summit in Ludwigsburg is set to bring together all the winners of the award during a ceremony with science journalist and competition mentor Ranga Yogeshwar.
